Cuppow – From Jam Jar to Sustainable Coffee Cup

I’ve been collecting jars at home since 2010, the inspiration came from my first visit to New York. We ate at this cool restaurant in Meatpacking (closed now), and all the interior was secondhand founds. No plates, glasses or cutlery was matching. It was oddly refreshing, drinking water and drinks from different jam jars. I use my jars for all kinds of stuff (leftovers for example, and my smoothies to-go), but every time I go to NYC, I always get inspired to a new way.
This time around I was in one of my favourite little cornershop/deli in Williamsburg called Dépanneur. They have a lot of locally grown foods and innovative products, and this is where I found Cuppow! (SPOILER ALERT to family and friends, who might get a present from NYC!).
Cuppow is an extra lit you can put on your jar, that then transform your mason jar to an on-the-go coffee cup:) See for yourself how easy it is, and I haven’t been in a coffee shop yet, that wouldn’t put my coffe in my jar instead of a plastic cup, if I asked nicely:) #simplyliving #zerowaste
